At Chinook Baptist Church, we understand the great responsibility given to parents to train up their child and we desire to provide some of the tools they will need to fulfill their responsibility.
Sunday School
Sunday School is a great opportunity for children to learn the wonderful truths of God’s Word. You will be amazed how much your child will learn in their class. They will become familiar with the stories in the Bible and the truths we see in them. They will learn things like knowing who Jesus is and that God loves them and made them for a unique purpose.
Junior Church
Our Junior Church meets during the 11:00 AM Sunday worship service. It is designed to be a fun, energetic environment in which to help your child grow to know God and have a personal relationship with Him. Your child will come home singing new songs, quoting verses they have memorized, and sharing with you the important truths they are learning from God’s Word.
F.B.I. Club
The Faithful Bible Investigators meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00. Your child will enjoy the fun children’s Bible songs and memory verses. Each class also includes a special time of Bible study and exciting stories of missionaries who have shared the Gospel on the foreign field. With competitive group games, a light snack, and Bible memorization, your child is sure to have fun while increasing his knowledge of the Scriptures.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is the highlight of our summer! Children from all over our community join us for four days in July as we seek to present the Gospel in a fun and exciting way that a child can understand. Each day starts and ends with a rally time including exciting songs, memory verses, games and skits. Then they are divided into age groups and taught Bible lessons to help them learn more about Jesus and how to have a personal relationship with Him. The kids also enjoy craft time, outdoor games, and a snack. You will be thrilled with how much your child will learn from the Bible in just a few short days!
