Ladies Ministries
No matter what your stage in life, being a Godly woman can sometimes seem like a daunting task. Each of us wears many “hats” and it is easy to become overwhelmed with our various responsibilities. Whether we are a daughter, wife, mother, or friend, we could all use a bit of encouragement as we seek to be a woman after God’s own heart. At Chinook Baptist Church, our desire is to be a help to ladies through prayer, practical teaching, and opportunities for personal involvement in ministry.
Coffee Fellowship -
Ladies gather in town on the first Thursday of the month. A short devotion focusing on one of the women in the Bible is shared as we enjoy a hot cup of coffee.Secret Pal Ministry -
This ministry is designed to be a fun and positive recognition of our care for each other. Participants exchange names twice a year. The goal is to encourage each other through prayer and periodically giving small, thoughtful gifts or notes. It really is a fun way to get to know the other ladies in our church and to learn to pray for one another daily.
Ladies Activities -
Periodically, our ladies will join together to enjoy a fun activity. Usually, this includes some kind of delicious food, crafts, coffee or tea, and a whole lot of laughter. It is a great time of fun and fellowship.Ladies Retreat -
Sometimes it is good for us to “come apart” before we come apart! The Ladies Retreat is designed to be a time of refreshment, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. For our retreat, we attend the Inland Northwest Ladies Gala hosted by the ladies from Faith Baptist Church in Spokane, WA. They hold the Ladies Retreat at the historic Davenport Hotel in November. The hotel is beautiful, the amenities are wonderful, the fellowship is refreshing, and the teaching sessions are instructive and inspirational.Men's Ministries
The need for godly men is greater than ever. Chinook Baptist Church desires to be a place where men of every “age and stage” of life are encouraged and equipped to be the faithful husbands, fathers, and friends that God intends them to be. Through sound Biblical preaching and teaching as well as regular opportunities for fellowship and ministry, men are strengthened to “...live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.” (Titus 2:12)
Monthly Coffee Fellowship -
On the second Thursday of every month, the men gather for some good coffee and fellowship around God’s Word.Quarterly Prayer Breakfast -
The men of Chinook Baptist Church gather together on a Saturday morning to enjoy a delicious breakfast and a practical Bible study. Then, they share prayer requests and come together for a time of prayer.Other Opportunities
Throughout the year, we enjoy special times of refreshing and spiritual growth through Preaching Conferences, Revival Meetings, Family Activities and Camps, frequent Missionary presentations and Guest Speakers, as well as regular opportunities for hospitality and fellowship.
